Cemetery On The Khortitsya Island.

When I went to the Upper Khortitsya through a dam for some times I always saw a cemetery on The Khortitsya Island. It is on the hill just at the right coast of Dnipr. Today I glanced on the Sich and near a little bit lower visited this cemetery.


In general it’s an ordinary cemetery of the Soviet epoch (burial places, are mainly, since 1967). Well, interesting is its location,


some abandoned graves and the atmosphere. It was quiet and philosophical, breathing with eternity even in spring and in spite of birds singing.
